It was a wonderful experience to venture into a cave and swim in the cool water and travel underground in the river. The stalagtites and stalagmites were very majestic and we exfoliated our skin with the calcium mineral on the bottom of the river. Yes there were tiny little bats on the ceilings, but it was awesome to see. They... More

Is a magical place to enter the womb of mother earth and enjoy the cool waters of the cave and underground river, the treatment of people and the views are spectacular.

The caves were so cool. Creepy at times but so exciting. I loved all the bats hanging upside down sleeping and some flew around us. It was fascinating.

See my review for the above - it's the same thing, not sure why it has two different entries on the site - just spelling anomalies by the looks of it. Anyway - excellent place to visit. Two hour guided cave and snorkel tour. Suitable for kids if they are good swimmers. All kit supplied. Involves rough terrain and cool... More

This is a great quick trip if you want to get away from the pool and beach for a few hours. We stayed in downtown playa and just need a quick adventure. We knew we didn't want a trip to last 4-8 hours and be an entire day commitment. It's basically half the price of the other caves that are... More

The caves are beautiful!! Not a far ride from Playa del Carmen. Which is great if you do not want to spend the whole day out on an excursion!!!

Nice place, very close to Playa Del Carmen hotels area, good service and the place worth the time (about 3 hours total), incredible place, great new experience. People very friendly (they include pictures for extra about USD 30), you take the pictures in a CD if pay for it.

This was part of a package we did with Tulum 1st, and then off to the caves where we also had lunch. This is such a beautiful natural wonder that it is a must see (bring an underwater camera). The only negative is that they get so many visitors during the day, your tour only has 20-30min to get on... More

There is seaweed all a long the coast of Riviera Maya. We wanted a refreshing activity and this is what we got. Took a taxi to get there and simply asked to be driven to Cavernes Chaaktun. In Canada, we use adresses to go where we want, but here, the name of the place is enough to get you there.... More

Great adventure. Abel made it very fun and informative. Got to dive underwater to some different compartments in the caves. Have fun and watch your head!
