This tour was highly recommended by several people in Tulum and we were not disappointed. First of all, the Muyil ruins were such a nice contrast to the ruins in Tulum or Coba. Without the throngs of people, it was a peaceful, beautiful experience. After...More

Wonderful tour with Joaquin as our guide. If you have a rental car, getting to Muyil for the start of the tour is easy. Very organized group and beautiful grounds where the tour starts and ends. Floating down the canal and the boat tour through...More

My family (kids ages 10, 13, and 15) enjoyed the Ancient Canal Tour with Pepe as our guide at the end of March. Pepe was very knowledgable about the ecosystem and flora and fauna in the area. We saw a spoonbill, turkey vultures, osprey, and...More

We originally booked the chewing gum tour but unfortunately before starting it they told us that the chewing gum master was sick that day. They kindly offered us to join a similar tour, which we did with Omar as a guide and it has been...More

Did this as a day trip from Akumal and the only downside was the transfer time as we were first pick up and last drop off, so maybe worth driving yourself to the start if you have a car. Relatively expensive but a full day...More

It's a great way to see the natural beauty of Mexico. Omar was our guide and was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. Groups are small and as everyone comments the float at the end is really cool.

I named this review good and bad because that's what our day was like. We arrived to the breakfast site and saw that it was in a one star campground. The food was good and the view looking out over the beautiful beach was marvelous....More

We walked into the Community Tours storefront by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Jimena who booked our tour was very good at explaining our options. We went on the Sian Ka'an half day tour with Pluma. Does not really feel like a...More

The weather was against us, raing and almost cold; and also I feel that the price was too high for what we did. But our tour guide Pepe was very good talker, he has so many story to tell; and the "float" is something very...More

Our morning birding tour was excellent. Our guide Alberto was throughly knowledgeable regarding all of the local species and he was very, very interesting. He was highly personable and his sharing of stories growing up in the area nearby was truly appreciated. We have been...More

I agree with Jade Queen. I would ask at the resort including asking them to call the office all Community Tours . Tours leave early in the morning. Don't forget to swim with turtles right at Akumal across the street... More

I've read many of the reviews and also visited Community's website, translating their descriptions of the two tours I'm interested in. But I don't really see what the differences are between the Ancient canal tour and the Muyil Silva tour? How long are you in a boat going through the waterways on each of these two tours, and how long are you floating in the canal? Will you see more of the habitat on one of these tours vs the other? How do they differ? Thanks!

Hello, Is there an email address to contact Community Tours? I have tried contacting via the website but have had no luck. I would prefer an email address rather than a phone number as I'm currently in the UK and trying to avoid international charges! Thanks!
