Went diving at Dos Ojos cenotes right after I’ve done my open water diver in Tulum (at Casa Cenote). Absolutely loved it! Stunning rock formations, the clearest water, bat cave, colours.. It was my first dive in a cave-like environment and it was truly exciting, there’s quite a lot of light coming through, for where there isn’t we used flashlights which makes you feel like a true explorer :) brilliant experience. My guide was Hairo (+52 984 143 1295), i did the PADI course with him - professional, knowledgable and funny

Most of these reviews are for DOS OJOS (Two Eyes), a totally different cenote! This listing is for DOS OSOS (Two Bears) cenote. If you want to snorkel in a natural jungle cenote and see the amazing cave formations, you want to visit Dos Ojos, located north of Tulum. If you want to swim in algae clouded water, rent kayaks and pool toys, and watch local families having birthday parties, then by all means, head south of Tulum to Dos Osos. You can't miss it....there are two giant concrete bear statues at the entrance.

Best cenote for little kids. We visited a lot of cenotes with our 1 and 4 year old, but this was the best by far for children. Perhaps not as spectacular as some of the others, but Dos Osos (or Cenote De la Vida it was also called) was truly wonderful for kids. A water slides, a big loop of water to explore, an island with bridges (some scary!) old machines in the woods, some wonderful pavilions, a great place. The water wasn't as crystal clear as others, go to another to see that.
For clear water but less perfect for kids, we also loved Cenote Azul, up near Puerto Aventuras, and if you have a kid who is old enough to venture out a bit the 4 year old loved Cenote Grande and the cave there where you can swim through to another open aired section. Bring a picnic and spend the afternoon here!

We went to do snorkel tour in Cenote
The office is just off the highway 307
At the first parking which at the entrance looks a little run down is the ticket office where you pay for dive or snorkel
We choose snorkel with guide which was 200 Passos per head including snorkel gear if required
We then drove for about 4ks down an unpaved road to the Cenote area
Here there were lockers and we collected our gear. I took the offer of wetsuit as it would get cold and the life jacket so I could clear my mask and work my camera
We then walked to a pool in which we tried and checked our gear and swam for 15 minutes
Then on to the next pool where we followed the guide through caves with surface clearance
The water was clear and pure and we could see the rock formations and some small fish
The highlight was following a narrow route into the bay cave where the bats were gathered sleeping in was quite special to be inside the bats home and not knee deep in bat poo
We than swam out to a third pool where we got out and walked back to the lockers
Great experience not over touristic by this areas standards
Chilled at the end in a jungle cafe sipping juice blends in a hammock

So, Cenotes Nicte Ha and Dos Ojos are the most beautiful I have seen, and I have visited Cenotes all around the area. This park is full of cenotes and rivers but the views of the ones I have mentioned are just breathtaking. Dive! If you can, take a deep dive and see just how amazing exploring these places is. Swimming surrounded by such a piece of art sculpted by nature and by friendly fish brings peace and joy to your soul.

We visited Dos Ojos on our own on a particularly hot day and swam in both cenotes. The water was clear, and the visibility underwater was excellent. It was an unusual and refreshing experience. If you have more time and interest, there are more cenotes to explore.

We went to Dos Ojos to do some snorkeling. Entrance was 350P per person and our bracelet seemed to indicate we were supposed to have a guided tour. We were not told anything at the entrance and, arriving at the cenotes, no one was there to greet us and tell us anything....the 2 cenotes are a good 2 Km from the entrance. Anyway, we snorkeled both cenotes for a while then drove back home. This was a nice outing but it was really for scuba divers as a good portion of the area was closed to snorkelers. On a subsequent visit, we visited the Nicte-ha cenote, also part of the Dos Ojos park; entrance for this cenote was 150P per person; we had a good time at this cenote; lots of fish, vegetation...a very nice place. If you are a snorkeler, there are better and cheaper places you can go to.

Eleazar did a fantastic with the tour, he also told us about how important it is to preserve the caves and the wildlife in the area and how important the caves are to the Mayans and there descendants. Best Cenote experience I've ever done with my GF and we've done a lot. I highly recommend you come and take the guided tour.

Cenotes Dos Ojos is incredible to put it simply. The place offers a few different cenotes and if you do the snorkelling tour then you will get to see the Bat Cave which is in fact a cave full of bats. For 600 pesos pp the tour will take you through the network of cenotes that make up dos ojos. The water is crystal clear and you will see a lot of fish and other wildlife as well as the intriguing geological features of stalagmites and stalactites.

Very nice setting - hidden in the jungle away from the city hum - good accommodations - guided by Prodive organisation - instructor Phil - second cenote dive ( after Chikin-ha ) - good security briefing - crystal clear water - beautiful formations - first impression bit uncertain but then a very zen feeling during the dive - silence and serenity - doing again ? YEZ !
