First of all, I am also very surprised that positive references outbalance negative ones. For me and my family (my wife + two children, age of 11 and 5) was this tour simply a huge disappointment. We took this tour on February 26, 2014. Total price we paid for that tour in total was over 500 USD including the discount... More

Our tour guide was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. It was really cool to see a dolphin, crocodile and sea turtle in their natural habitats. However, for me the positive points ended there. It just took up so much of our day (6AM-830PM) and it felt like most of it was spent in the gross, unsafe Jeep. Granted, my boyfriend... More

Cankan is very pretty but there are a lot of mosquitos. The weather is enjoyable because it is not too hot, but not too cold. It is very good for kids because there are many activities for them to do. The best activity is to go snorkeling to the underwater boat. It is the best activity in the world! My... More

This excursion was an outlier for me, but my husband wanted to go so I went. It was worth every penny and I would go back again. We had a wonderful guide for the day. We truly lucked out. Saw sea turtles, dolphins and many birds that we would normally have not seen. Punta Allen is a very small fishing... More

Ok, where do I start? Do not believe all the positive reviews of this place and tour. They must be either written by a tour company itself or by some people who've never seen an ocean or jungle before. I'll try and describe every step we took that day. We got up around 6 am (please keep track of timing... More

After a 'ride' that stopped at every resort between Playa del Carmen and Tulum to cram more people into the van, we arrived 1 1/2 hours later at 'headquarters'. After an orientation, which didn't warn you whatsoever about what you were about to get into, they took us out in the yard and loaded us up - 4 people per... More

You'll get an email confirming, with a promise to get details to you. Nope. They don't arrive on time, and the phone number provided doesn't work. Once the pick up occurs, plan to wait even longer for the rest of the tourists to be gathered, sorted, and distributed to vehicle. This is where the fun begins: amongst complete strangers, you... We were 17 hours from start to finish...more than half of which were in extremely uncomfortable conditions. The road was not on a beach as pictures depict but on a narrow jungle road riddled with pot holes so deep and unavoidable that the 40 km trip took more than 2 hours one way and even with gravol motion sickness was... Here are the reasons I believe one should skip this tour because it is was a waist of time. First - be ready for a VERY, VERY long day. We were picked up in Playa Del Carmen at 6:30 am and didn't return until 10 pm... not 7 pm. Shuttle vans are packed which means lots of stops to and... More

the jeeps are not secure, with no first aid box, and the closest hospital is 3h away bay car from punta alen (end of excursion), through dirty roads. We had an accident and the guide gave us no support!
