Batey is a new mojito bar in Tulum. We serve the best mojitos made with freshly crushed sugar cane juice out of a converted VW Beetle! There's live music most days of the week, a great atmosphere and the best service.

This is a place to have a drink, it is really nice and noisy. Live music, good cocktails, cold beer, and a nice crew serving all clients. I had a good time and the price was right. Well located if you are staying in Tulum Town

This restaurant saved the day. After being spoiled with great healthier options for food throughout the entire Yucatan, we were at a loss in finding another place that offered healthier options, until we came across this place. Every place near us was offering food that was not meeting our dietary desires; this place however met them. The only thing we... More

Prices have soared in light of their increasing popularity which is a shame but it is a good atmosphere and drinks are of good quality, even if they are a bit of a rip off.

I went here on my first night in Tulum as they have live music (almost every night). It definitely had a meeting-place-for-travelers vibe to it. The wait staff are super friendly and helped me make my first mezcal experience a joyful one (Iam now a mezcal convert). They dont have many veg options , I had a cheese and fruit... More

Excellent selection of delicious mojitos, with fresh sugar cane juice from the juicer outside! Live music out back and street-front tables.

The mojito is out of the world! Especially with the combination of the sugarcane instead of sugar water. And the atmosphere is really nice!

Grab a mojito! They are so good! Be careful ordering the mayan mojito, with habanero spice, it might be a little too spicy for a gringo, like myself.

We loved this place. Great mojitos and live music the three nights we went there. The mojitos have a really cool twist, when compared to how this classic drink is made everywhere else in the world. Instead of mixing soda and sugar, they pour sugar cane juice into the drink, from the canes they press in the traditional machine right... More
