We paid an awful lot of money for the famous "Mayan clay and massage". My husband had a guy and I had a woman in separate little cabanas. The clay was gently rubbed all over my body for a long time but the massage part was I guess the clay. It looks like yellow mud and dries on your body... More

There are several places in Tulum with similar names. The place I am reviewing is "Mayan Clay Spa" across from the Hip Hotel. I passed the spa several times during my stay and it seemed like it would be a a cool/unique experience, so I decided to try it. I had a 90 minute clay massage. It was underwhelming. The... More

Paid $80 each for a back and neck massage on the beach. It was very relaxing. The masseuse took my necklace off and I only remembered when I was back in my hotel room, so after we had lunch I went back and they had kept it for me.

We did the bathhouse spa treatment. It was wonderful and so awesome to be in the jungle and relax. The woman who performed the treatment was very sweet and attentive. The Rosemary scrub, the relaxing bath, the clay( buy some!-you glow after), the sauna, rub down was a beautiful treat and price is so reasonable. The cenote pool was freezing... More

This little spa experience is tucked away in the jungle but just steps away from the Caribbean Sea. Its not just a luxury but a healing experience as well. I have taken home the clay to use in many ways. It not only is used for beauty but also for my very swollen knee after an accident 3 years ago.... More

I purchased a massage for my wife on her 30th birthday. When I dropped her off it was quiet and peaceful but five minutes into her massage break time ended for the workers at the hotel and for the next hour and a half there was constant jack hammering, sawing and hammering right next to where she was getting a... We had a couples massage on the beach from the Spa at Casitas and then had a neck, back and shoulder massage at the spa at Generations and both were so good we came out relaxed and feeling much better.

I had a wonderfully relaxing visit here. I went to the early morning yoga sessions and the yoga teachers were excellent.
