About
This calm and relaxing lagoon is a well-kept secret among the locals and is known to have some of the best waters in Yucatan. Here, you can swim in its turquoise waters (though the deep central cenote is off-limits!), enjoy the views from the wooden pier, chill out in the hammocks above the water, or have some fun on the swings. There are also locals selling fresh coconuts. Just 15 minutes by car from downtown Tulum, Laguna Kaan Luum makes for a great day trip. It's often included as a stop on tours of Tulum, along with other cenotes and beaches. – Tripadvisor

:) Beautiful lagoon with plenty of space for people to swim and relax under the sun. It is very quiet and the water is shallow on most parts. Blue water is usually seen on the shallow bits, and there is a bar next to the water. Some people believe that the sand brings healing results - saw some people spreading sand all over their bodies and then washing it out, repeatedly. The walking paths were layered in wooden panels all around the lagoon which makes it a warmer place due to the accumulated heat, but is also makes it easier to walk around. There were many swings for people to rest on and take photos. The parking lot is a big area and it is included in the price.
:( The water is quite cold and, if the sun hasn't come out, it can get a bit unpleasant as it is very windy. The entrance fee is 100 pesos, which is too much money just for maintenance of the place and keeping control of the coming and going of people. If you'd like to use the bathroom (like for changing, let's say), there's extra cost. The viewing platform is also paid, and, after all, it is not so high (I would its height is around 5 meters or so). Not everyone felt encouraged to go up there to take photos of the lagoon. It is not a good place for snorkeling as there is nothing to see, and I felt that cenotes were much more interesting.

The lagoon is dirty, and overcrowded. We arrived at the lagoon at around 1:30pm, and told that the entrance price was $16 per person. As it was supposedly a area of natural beauty, I paid the entrance fee and proceeded to walk to the lagoon, the first thing that struck me was the number of people with cool boxes, drinks, and food.
When I got to the lagoon, there was no space at all. There was no social distancing or masks. The place was packed on both jetties. I quickly turned round, as I was not going to put myself in danger. The signs stated 50% capacity, however I think the people who are running the lagoon are just money greedy, as it was well and truly over that number.
When I asked for a refund, not six minutes after entering, I was told no refund. I told the now "non-english" speaking attendant, who not ten minutes before was telling me how much he liked England, that it was full and there were no places available. He shrugged his shoulders and refused to refund the money.
I would stay away from the Lagoon, there are so many other things to see in this area, this wouldn't be a miss.

I visited the lagoon at 10:00 am and it was quite empty. I was expecting this pretty blue/green magical lagoon however it was just green, murky, and swamp like. A random tour guide there told me that due to the current rainy season (December), the color and appearance of the lagoon is green and not clear compared to other times of the year. I waded around a bit and laid out in the sun to dry off. The fee of 300 pesos was not worth it in my opinion. It was just okay.

This place is so relaxing and such a great price, only $300MXN for admission and parking. If you can't swim, don't worry because many parts of this lagoon are pretty shallow. You can't swim over the sinkhole part of it (for everyone's safety) and is blocked off for only scuba divers, but it is still very cool to see. There are hammocks and swings for amazing pictures, despite it not being a popular tourist attraction. Many locals come here and you can buy drinks, or even bring your own snacks. This place is a MUST if you're in Tulum.

Nature in all its splendor… the colours are exactly as you see them on the pictures: the phenomon of 2 cenotes in one laguna creates and interesting play of colours! The place is popular and therefore more expensive (300 pesos pp) than other cenotes but you could linger here for a full day if you want! It can get busy which means not a lot of places in the shadow. We arrived towards the end and could enjoy the beauty without the crowds. Drones are allowed (at 150 pesos)

So much fun! This is off the beaten path and such a cool spot! It wasn’t busy when we went, there was actually a lot of locals visiting here when we went. A lot of people brought lunch with their families and spent the day there. We spent about 2 hours here and absolutely loved it.

Beautiful spot and off the beaten track! We wanted to visit somewhere different so got a taxi down to the Laguna from town, but well worth the journey. Clear water, sunshine and an amazing view! Not much to do there but sunbathe and chill however you’re not allowed to wear sun screen in the water so we didn’t last that long as it was a hot day. However well worth a visit and for 300 pesos per person. Highly recommend taking your own food and water and there is only a small bar there with no food option.

Nice place to spend the day.
Costs 300 pesos per person (not 100 pesos as I read in some reviews!).
I honestly expected a better infrastructure for such price.
You can’t wear sunscreen (understandable as it’s a Cenote) - but I expected more spots with shades available to the public. If you go on the weekend and spend a few hours there - you will get sun burned!

The lagoon is ok, but overpriced. Worst yet, they are scamming tourists at the entrance booth. You give them the admission price, they take it into their little booth and then stick out a lower amount claiming you didn’t give them enough.
We’re not stupid and these scams are getting too common in Tulum.

Really a very nice place to do!
Lots of places to relax even when it's full, I still recommend going there when it opens to make the most of it.
The belvedere offers a lovely panoramic view of the lagoon and the cenote (in which it is forbidden to swim or even get too close, the supervisors are keeping an eye out).
Ample parking is available.
The only downsides are: Location not necessarily very well signposted and relatively high entrance fee.
