This lagoon is a nice break from the hustle and flow of Tulum Town and the beach. The water is remarkably clear and warm and it is just fun to walk around in the lagoon and feel the super soft sand between your toes. The...More

No difference to any lake experience. No place to lay down and relax. So we left again after 20 minutes.

Great lagoon to swim for hours or go snorkling. People hang out on the dock making a day out of it. Beautiful nature and light green water makes this place a must.

It’s a beautiful place, but not comfortable enough to stay for more than 30 min. The online pictures look way better than the real life view.

Not a bad place but you arrive with the expectation of looking at this amazing and colorful lagoon but since you are not watching from the sky it is not that great. Don't get me wrong it is a nice place but different from the...More

The lagoon is beautiful and the waters are clear. There is parking, but there is nothing else there other than just some street vendors. Bring all you need.

This is a lake formed by an enormous sink hole that is surrounded by Jungle. The deep and dark water is fenced off but there is a huge amount of warm clear shallow water at adult standing depth to swim in and a pier that...More

Currently water is not blue but light green, still it is a beautiful view. You can swim near the pier. We went on a Sunday and most people were locals. The deeper area is corded off. Entrance is $50/each, even young kids.

If you want to go out and about and explore but still just want to relax this is a great spot. It was very quite when we were there. Only 2 other couples out floating. Make sure you walk out to where the sand turns...More

There are no taxis in the place. The best way to get there is to rent a car, or ask a taxi to leave you and pick up and set the previous time. Remember that the place closes at 5 and you will have to. Walk up the road to get... More

Its a little more then 5 km south of Tulum. You can see it on Google Earth. It is on the left hand side. There is a hand painted sign that says Kaan Luum Lagoon. Then there is a dirt road some 2 or 3 km and a booth where you... More
