As a campsite, Eweleaze is very deserving of its good reputation. It does have amazing facilities - the 'Dorset bath', the pizza oven, a shop selling everything and a bakery. There are horses, alpacas and (fat) goats wandering around, you can have campfires and it...More

We go camping for a fortnight each summer. This was a hugely disappointing experience as the site is just ENORMOUS with possibly 4000-5000 campers. It is just nothing like the photo on the website, which is highly misleading and made us think we were going...More

As a local person, I think that the camping fraternity need to be informed that contrary to popular belief THE BEACH IS NOT PRIVATE. It is a local beach for everyone's use, not just Eweleaze campers.

My partner and i booked in for 4 nights and left after 3. The site is geared up for families, which is does well. Positives: great views, solar showers, close to other coves, private access to pebble beach, animals, shops and eateries on site, friendly...More

Harassed and stressed out animals kept together a large field, tortured by children trying to pet them all day. The mixed livestock field is one of the main attractions, but also acts as thoroughfare with five gates in / out and so the ratio of...More

We first visited Eweleaze in 2011 and have been back every year since for short or longer trips. The site has changed a lot in that time, but we love it. The site is spacious with plenty of choice of camping areas, some directly overlooking...More

Not bad, would recommend spending money to go somewhere else though- Eweleaze attracts a certain type of family because they are the only ones who can afford it.
