Really enjoyed looking around the Castle, it was clear to see how various buildings were completed through the Centuries. Well worth a visit.

I have to give it 5 stars. We went on a Monday and it was closed. The guard let us in though. We didn’t linger but the site is very well maintained. Definitely worth the detour.

We saw dogs inside on our visit....not sure if they would be allowed inside the rooms though. Lots of lovely walks for them in the grounds :)

There is a free car park just inside the grounds, next to the castle and children's park area.
