Carve out a whole day!

This place is big and there is a lot to see! You can also have a nice lunch at the cafe while you're there. Easily something for everyone.

A fascinating repurposing of an old factory. Some great shops and galleries. A short taxi ride from the Centro.

If you enjoy art, this is a great place to visit in San Miguel. There is an abundance of art galleries featuring a wide variety of art. Everyone we met was friendly & helpful. You can also schedule art classes, including sculpture. In addition, the non-art shops have very nice and mostly non-touristy items for sale. Nice outdoor cafe. Worth... More

We had a fun few hours walking around this place. There are many stores and galleries, people are gracious in all of them, and the work and goods were interesting to see.

An old textile factory nicely converted to a labyrinth of small artist galleries and planted courtyards. Many imaginative and often whimsical pieces guaranteed to bring a smile. Each gallery has it's own hours and most are not open before 11:00 so if you come before then all you can do is look through the glass partitions. The short walk from... More

Lots on nice galleries and shops, a good restaurant at the entrance, overall a nice place to while away a few hours and find unusual artwork and ornaments.

I was skeptical when Aurora opened a number of years ago, but now I'm a fan. While I think the range of artists is not what it might be, the galleries located here are clearly committed to showing high-end artwork you won't likely find in the more folk-oriented locations around town. Don't miss the wonderful bookstore--and if art isn't your... More

We walked through this place our first full day in San Miguel and were very impressed with the beautiful objects for purchase. Many items were far too big for us to get home but even so we enjoyed looking at the amazing things that were available.

The large collection of dealers and artists displaying largely Mexican art and artifacts make this a very worthwhile and enjoyable occasion. You can wander round entirely at your own pace in a very attractive and spacious setting. Coffee and Geek serves an excellent Americano and there is a decent lunch to be had at the bar/restaurant to the rear if... More
