Happened upon this large art design center by accident. Some interesting galleries, but mostly pedestrian art. There were two galleries that did grab my interest. They both sold religious themed antiques. No way I could buy anything, how the heck would I have gotten it home? If your tastes are more adventurous, I'd say skip this.

From beautiful glass accessories to humongous pieces of fine art. At Fabrica La Aurora a great variety of beautiful things can be found. But it comes with a price tag.

The Fabrica La Aurora is a must visit destination in San Miguel de Allende if you enjoy state of the art furniture design, original artwork, jewellry and much, much more. For those who want to take art classes there are a number of excellent art instructors who work out of the Fabrica. Once each month in the winter time there are... More

Very interesting old factory which has been repurposed into a mall of galleries, including fine - and not so fine - art, glass, pottery, home decorations and much more. Prices are quite high, but the variety and volume of stuff in one large location is what makes it worth a visit. Except for the fine art, the artisan markets in... More

The shops are very expensive. This is just shopping. Some of the artists are in their shops so it is interesting to speak with them about their work. There is a nice coffee shop/smoothie bar in the middle of the shops. .

We began our shopping in San Miguel in the Artisan Markets so we had slight sticker shock at Fabrica La Aurora. I'm not saying the goods were not beautiful, they certainly were. There is art work, pottery, ceramics, jewelry and textiles...shop after shop in a gracious environment but generally out of my price range. Galleria Totonilco was more to my... More
