A wide variety of art galleries, approaches, methods and budgets. Also, one of the nicest open-air cafés in town, as well as 2 full restaurants in front.

We've been to Aurora on each of our visits to San Miguel de Allende. This time the venue seemed to hold less charm for us than on previous visits. For one thing, everything I looked at seemed incredibly expensive, not the kind of item I...More

Fabrica Aurora is a great place to meet friends, wander, shop, dine out (all restaurants are dog friendly), and go to art frequent art walks. While most shops are high end/high priced, it's an interesting place to wander and look, if not buy. I go...More

My wife and I enjoyed seeing the fabulous shops in the Fabrica La Aurora, however this center is for the high end designers in the area...prices are high and most of the items for sale are for magnificent, large homes requiring a professional decorator. Interesting!

Definitely worth a drop by on your visit to SAM. Stroll through a multitude of shops. Some really high end artwork, furniture, and “things.” Some very nice, affordable “things.” Cafe with good drinks and pizza toward the back/side.

We visited La Aurora on a week day and it wasn’t crowded at all. Our main reason was to look around and not shopping. We had a very good time, as there a lot of galleries offering different styles of art. There are a lot...More

This is a beautifully restored cotton fabric factory that now houses some galleries, artists' studios, high-end boutiques and jewelry stores. There are two restaurants. My favorite gallery is Scott Foreman who show outstanding modern works as well as some old favorites.

Nice place to hang out around San Miguel and to sit for a cup of coffee. Galleries, local designers stores, a lot to see and buy. Increíble work remodeling the old factory.
