Several outdoor hot springs with pools of different temperatures. Also some enclosed pools with light shining in either from holes in the ceiling or through glass. Picnic grounds with tables and many families in attendance. Clean changing rooms, a great place for a relaxing morning or afternoon.

Like many other reviewers we were headed for La Gruta, which was closed, and ended up here, which was nearby. Signed up for a massage in the newly built spa (somewhat austere), which was relaxing. Went into the pools, including the man-made "caves", which I found a bit claustrophobic and needed repairs to the roof. Other pools were nice. Although... More

We had planned on going to La Gruta (hot springs) that all of our friends had told us about. When we arrived it was closed (on Monday and Tuesday) so our cab driver suggested Escondido Place. We had a wonderful day here. The hot springs are fabulous and there are several lovely outdoor pools that are also warm but not... More

Every Wednesday the four of us hop into a cab for our weekly cab ride to Escondito. What a lovely spot and so relaxing. Make sure you visit all three of the covered linked pools and enjoy a mini massage by standing under the water jets pumping the water into the enclosed room. I love to float in the last... More

We were advised to go to La Gruta next door, but when it was closed our cab driver recommended this place. It was very nice, with multiple pools, indoors and out, from cool to very warm. It's a nice place to get outside the city for a few quiet hours. The grounds are lovely, with lots of trees.

Not exciting but a nice respite from the town. Clean and well arranged with warm shower and water flow from above. Also a lovely pool and picnic area.

We came here wanting to experience something different to another spring we already knew and were nicely surprised! This a picnic place, people carried all sorts of food with them, a barbecue as well? I'm not sure! The only "bad part" was that the rest areas are so far away from the entrance to the caves. You must come with... More

We ended up here because La Grotto was unexpectedly closed. Our driver said that maybe we should try this instead. It was difficult to figure out exactly what to do, and there wasn't really anyone to ask. We finally made our way to what seemed like man made covered pool like structures. The water was not very hot, adn it... More

Gorgeous tiled (indoor) springs on a beautiful property - the park was lovely to sunbathe in, I had an excellent outdoor massage, and loved the baths. Restaurant had simple but delicious food, and excellent pina coladas. Will continue to come every year!
