This very old church is distinguished by its large dome supposedly modeled on the one at Les Invalides in Paris. From the interior, the dome's brick ceiling is amazing when you realize it was built hundreds of years ago.

Intimately cared for by cloistered nuns, the Iglesia de la Concepción is generally cool, clean, and quiet, with Masses at least twice a day (at 7:30am and 7pm).

I had a such a lovely visit to this church. The main cathedral may lead many to overlook Iglesia de la Concepcion, but that is a shame because it is so beautiful and peaceful inside, it is definitely worth a visit.

An old church with a nice facade and huge dome inspired in the Invalides temple in Paris, worth a visit especially if you also have a look at the Nigromante Cultural Centre nearby.
