I have attended this school several times from 2 to 4 weeks each. The instructors are very experienced in teaching Mexican spanish to learners at any level and in proper grammar rather than "usage to get by on the street" only. Expect intense, and entertaining, teaching and nightly "homework". Class size is kept to a minimum which allows plenty of... More

I attended four weeks of Spanish language classes In November-December 2016. It was my first experience with such an intensive program. However, I'm ready to sign up again next year. The schedule was well organized with a good balance between grammar and conversation. I spent about 35-40 hours a week in class and doing homework. I knew I was making... More

The classes at this school are geared towards getting you to habla español.use So many of us study and don´t use the knowledge we have in our conversation. This school is not bound by a specific credit program so can really individualize your lessons. The classes are small and individual tutoring is available. An 1 1/2 intensive with your teacher... I attended classes at the intermediate level for two weeks. I followed up with a one hour 1:1 tutorial twice a week. I found the tutorial very supportive and encouraging.

I just finished my first of four weeks in this school and wanted to write a review because I think they deserve all the good press they can get. The teachers at this school are excellent. They are at university level caliber and the best that I have had while taking classes in Guatemala, Bogota and now Mexico. I am... More

The courses are designed to begin each four week session at the beginning of every month. I came one week into a month and therefore missed the beginning of my intermediate level class. The design of the classes, the book and the ambiance was excellent. Over the three weeks I studied there (four hours every day except weekends) i learned... More

I love Habla Hispaña. I have studied at language schools in Mexico City, Veracruz, Yucatán, New Orleans, Dominican Republic and more - this is the best one I've come across. They offer intense immersion style classes (4 hours per day) which include a grammar lesson, conversation practice, reading/vocabulary session and more. I loved this place so much that, after trying... More

The teachers here are great. There is a series of curriculum books, but they were not followed very closely. The technology here is bad. No computers/printers for the students to use and the WiFi works only (and poorly) in the main office area. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the center of town. The home stay where I was... Let’s see, how shall I begin? San Miguel is great! (which you can read about, I don’t know…everywhere!) I was doing a thorough search to figure out in what Latin American country I should enroll in Spanish classes; and stumbled across what I considered a pretty good deal at Habla Hispana in San Miguel de Allende. I knew I wanted... More

Wonderful experience for two reasons. I have been to other Latin American schools -this is best. 1-San Miguel de Allende. Great town. Not too big, tons to do, music, great restaurants, theater, beautiful architecture, walk everywhere, people very friendly and honest, fantastic weather, archeological sites. 2-The school Habla Hispana. Teachers are smart, intuitive, want you to succeed, flexible, very experienced,... More
