Try to get to the Candelaria - flower festival. Wonderful blooms, herbs, pots and so on. You will see plants that you have not seen before and such a wide variety. It is packed with vendors. And don't forget to walk up the hill a bit and see the washing troughs.

This park is great to take a stroll to shop for art work or to bring your kids. Some paths have some basic workout equipment which was fun for my kids to practice on.

I stroll through Parque Juarez no less than once daily when I'm in San Miguel. The people watching (dog walkers, joggers, families) is almost as good as it is at El Jardin. And when my granddaughter visits, it's a must for the beautiful small playground there. This is the only decent children's park in town, so don't miss it. Your... More

We went there on Sunday and it was packed but had a great vibe. There was an extensive flower show, an art show and some musicians and singers. We really enjoyed the experience.

What this makes this park above average is the variety of activities it offers. While we saw it during the dry season, the park was transformed into a sea of flowers during market day. There is a small activity area for children, lots of benches, basketball courts and public bathrooms. Nearby there are cafes and restaurants. We want there a... More

This is the place to be - I participated in the March for Women in January - right now is the Candaleria flower sale and so many beautiful flower surround the park - vendors selling. Always something going on , joggers, walking your dog, basketball, childrens park with swings. Just beautiful.

As in the states...boys playing basketball and soccer, moms pushing strollers. Snack stands with refreshments. Grills gor outdoor cooking.

This is a lovely park that has been enhanced with sculptures and walking paths, lots of old trees too. There are many benches where you can sit and watch the children and couples strolling by. On weekends artists display there work. If you're an early riser, you can join early morning Yoga and Thai Chi groups .

If the noise and bustle of Centro is getting to be a bit overwhelming head over the Parque Benito Juarez. It has oodles of benches where you can sit and relax, read a book, people watch, or sketch some of the interesting plants.
