I am Ezshwan and I have been a working artist for many years, specializing in the encaustic technique for 25 years. I am classically trained and can move from figurative to abstract easily and can guide you to create your own vision.
I specialize in working with each student personally to inspire their individuality.
The techniques are clearly explained and demonstrated. . You will be working in my personal studio with all materials and tools at out finger tips. All materials are provided.

I've enjoyed two multi-day group Encaustic workshops at Ezshawn's studio in SMA, and and heartily recommend her. The space itself is bright and inviting, and Ezshwan herself is gifted, patient, and a wonderful teacher.
Whether you're an experienced artist trying Encaustic as a new medium, or a newbie (like me!) with no prior instructions, her workshops will work for you.

I highly recommend this for anyone that wants to learn the basics of encaustic painting. Ezshwan Winding Is a great teacher, artist and guide in this amazing technique using wax and pigments.

I've taken two encaustic classes from Ezshwan Winding. Both were so much fun. I came in with some specific learning requests and she tailored my experience to meet those needs. She helped me incorporate photography into my encaustic pieces. Not only is Ezshwan a wonderful teacher and artist, she understands adult learning and guides you to success. I highly encourage you to take one of her classes. Chances are that not only will you leave with your own little masterpiece, but you will make a new very good friend in the process.

I met Ezshwan first time through some other occasion and saw her wonderful art studio and her works. She has a very warm and inviting energy.
A bit later, a friend and I took her encaustic workshop. We had the best time creating images we wanted. She is not only an amazing artist and a teacher for the technique, she is also a very nice person. Highly recommend her workshop!!!
