I've visited and/or scuba dove this cove for over 20 years and love that it has not changed. Still rustic, quaint, quiet, and the beach relatively unaffected by tourism.
We did quiet a bit of snorkeling in Frenchie's, Lalo's and some other secluded beaches around San Carlos. Visited in March and only saw a handful of people at these beaches the whole week. My kind of beach.
Frenchie's and Lalo's coves are great spots on weekends or weekdays. Lalo's is on your right and Frenchie's on the left as you approach the beaches. The sandy road is fine unless you go too far onto Frenchie's beach. The snorkeling is okay in Lalo's...More
