Calm and nice environment, not too many people around and a good view of the valley. Scarce of service and few shops nearby.

I went to the mirador in the off-season so there were not a lot of tourists. You can enjoy coffee, ice-cream and grilled bananas filled with either cheese or peanut butter. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset. Within walking distance is the Chocolate Museum,...More

I went here on Sunday evening and the experience was festive. Lots of families and couples were there just milling around and getting snacks from the street vendors. The views are good. I then walked down to the port and got a boat ride on...More

If you're in Moyobamba, take the time to visit the Mirador. There are shops and restaurants close by...along with with the choco museo!

Fun, on sunday noon they set up a food court in the street. Delicious and comfortable prices. Then one can go down the stairs to the river. Where the kids can play and go on the river ride

Best view over the Mayo river and the very nice bar quarter of the city. A must do! This part of the city is very special. Many bars, street arts and very beautiful plantations.

Definitely worth the almost 500 steps down !! Lovely peaceful panorama of the river. Cafe for drinks and food. Hard walk back if you go on a hot day ! Do not attempt if you have walking problems.

This hike down many stairs takes you to the Mirador where you have a nice view of River Mayo. There is such a nice, cool breeze along the river in any part of Moyobamba so it is very pleasant.
