They set up the infrastructure and invest in the local community. Added to this, the guides they use are fantastic and very knowledgeable.

I highly recommend doing a tour up to the 100 Waterfalls. The hike is beautiful! Make sure to bring waterproof shoes (Teva etc.) for the way up because you literally climb the waterfall. For the way back, hiking shoes/sneakers are good because they protect your...More

Make sure to book a private guide and go before the large groups from the tour operators start off. Then you will have a very nice trip! Be careful, it's very slippery climbing the waterfall. And be aware of leeches... but you will be awarded...More

Went with Tiger Trails on the 100 Waterfalls trip and had a great time. A trip really worth doing in Nong Khiaw. Our guide was great and the trek literally up the waterfalls was an experience.

This is a fun walk in water, not too difficult if you have a guide that will give you a hand when necessary. Loved it.

There is more than one agent offering the 100 Waterfall Tour at similiar prices but we opted to go on the Tiger Trails tour as they created the original infrastructure and are actively involved in supporting Ban Don Khoun village by using local guides, boats...More

This was an awesome experience. We chose to do the trek with Tiger Trails, who developed the trek with Don Khoun village, the boat is from the village, local villagers are employed as guides and a percentage of the price of the tour goes straight...More

You can be an average walker. There are some parts where the step-up is wide, but then I extended my hand to our guide and asked to be pulled up and there was no problem with that. It is not considered a steep walk.
