Well worth the price

We went to hear the Chaisson Trio and we were not disappointed. Great mix of traditional Scottish music and more recent numbers. The stepdancer, Taylor MacBesth, was a highlight.

Good work by the Women's Institute

We attended this ceilidh on Tues. Sept 3 to watch the The Chaisson Trio & Friends. The hall is very well kept with a good ramp on the side of the building for those with mobility issues. There is a bathroom on the main floor with ice cream and strawberries served in the basement. Exceptionally well organized and well attended.

I would recommend this particular group; wide range of songs and they're all very talented.

Really loved the music, jokes, step dancing, and songs. Great venue, friendly folks in spite of tight parking and seating.

Highlight of our PEI trip!
Sep. 2019
A big part of the appeal of going to PEI was the opportunity to hear live celtic music. Louise Arsenault was featured in the Wednesday night ceilidh at Stanley Bridge and she was absolutely amazing. She performed with her son Jonathan and Helen Bergeron. The evening flew by too quickly. I could have listened for hours. The musicians gave their all to the tunes and dancing making it a night to remember.

Always a great time

This is one of those hidden gems on the North Shore of PEI. This restored performance hall is air conditioned, has accessible entrance and now features performances from various entertainers almost every evening during the summer for $15-$20 per person admission. Some shows have advance ticket sales while others are "at the door, first come" only. Most shows start around 7 or 7:30pm and suggest arriving at least 30 minutes ahead. There is often a 50/50 raffle during the show and intermission has basic refreshments downstairs for a nominal cost.

If you have never been, you really must try one

Ceilidhs (pronounced Kay-lees) are a very special part of life on the island and well worth a visit. They usually a combination of phenomenal fiddle playing, singing, island stories and sometimes dancing. If you don't find your toe tapping by the end of the evening, I will be very surprised.

A Fine Night of Entertainment
Aug. 2019
Louise Arsenault, her son Jon and Helene Bergeron provided a wonderful evening of fiddle, guitar, step dancing, harmonica and foot stomping fun. Don't miss the chance to see Louise, a true great on the fiddle. How she does not get repetitive stress injury from her frequent appearances on the island we do not know. Get to the hall right at 7 pm to sit near the stage. Tonight was mostly Acadian music, done fabulously!

Unplanned and wonderful

At the last minute, we decided to attend Thursday night's ceilidh with Mike, Tom, and crew! We loved every minute of it and wished we could have gone other nights as well. Best $15 we spent on the island.
