A Sunday afternoon at Medano is not to be missed! Instead of solely Norte Americanos on some hotel strip of sand, Medano on a Sunday afternoon is splendid with the locals and their families. For sure, the vendors are an annoyance, but they're just trying...More

Highly recommend that you stay at one of the resorts along this beach. The sand isn't great, but the water is actually swim-able as opposed to the pacific beaches. Some of the resorts are quiet and some have a party atmosphere, which is nice. Something...More

I like beautiful beaches. I like to relax and enjoy the view. You cannot easily do it here. Vendors are repeatedly asking you to buy there goods/services. I paid two musicians to play music. They were great! Some friends bought plenty. Be polite!

Medano Beach is busy with vendors, horseback riding and bars/restaurants. We enjoyed watching all the action and looking out over the Sea of Cortez. Plus it is very clean.

Yes there are toward the city side of the beach and near teh office, Rather than a full cabana it is more like a couple of chairs with cover, if I remember correctly, it may be about $20/person per day..
