This is the second time I have had the pleasure of booking an excursion with Blue Sky Cabo. My group booked a 2.5 hour whale watching cruise for Tuesday, February 18, 2020. Blue Sky Cabo knew exactly where to look for the whales and the service on the private 43 foot yacht was amazing. The crew provided us with an open bar and chips/salsa. The crew also took photos and drone footage so that we could enjoy the whales. We were not disappointed with the service or the whale show that we saw. It ended up being the best whale activity day of that week. Following our whale watching excursion, Blue Sky Cabo offers its customers a complimentary sunset cruise. These trips are usually held on Wednesday, but it was full. Blue Sky Cabo went out of its way to charter another boat for our group of 6 to go out the following day on the 60 foot Blue Sea (the yacht I had gone on last year and loved). Again, Blue Sky Cabo provided an open bar and permitted us to bring food on board to enjoy. The service was amazing, as always. I recommend Blue Sky Cabo to anyone traveling to Cabo who want a great private yacht experience. Another friend of mine booked a whale watching excursion with Blue Sky Cabo for this week based on my glowing recommendation of the quality of their charters. Thank you Blue Sky Cabo for another amazing experience in Cabo!

I would recommend this experience to anyone. Phenomenal hosts, incredible crew, a very romantic troubadour and just an amazing time overall!
We left right on time and motored out to the Arch where the Captain held the boat steady for individuals and couples to get their photos taken with the arch as a backdrop. Our group was an older demographic and some folks had mobility issues but the crew was kind and patient with everyone. After our photo-op at the arch we cruised out into the Pacific and towards the sunset, the boat was super stable and comfortable.
We watched the sunset and then turned around and back into the marina we went. The staff was just as attentive in helping everyone off the boat as they had been in helping folks on-board. I highly recommend Blue Sky Cabo if you’d like to experience a beautiful sunset cruise. Fantastic value. You should do this.

My wife and I arrived in Cabo San Lucas on Dec. 28th and decided this year’s excursion would be “Whale Watching.” She’s read in the “Gringo Gazette” that this time of year is good for that. We’ve had wonderful experiences booking adventures with the concierge at of resort but this year we thought we’d try researching on our own... “We’re smart, right?”
On the 29th I met a new friend who was enjoying a cup of coffee, a book and the sunrise, like me. We started chatting and I came to find his wife and he had been on a “Sunset Whale Watching” trip the evening before. He said they’d had a wonderfully intimate experience with an outfit called Blue Sky Cabo. (He couldn’t remember the name, of course, his wife told me later.)
During the next few days we got online to do a little homework. I called Jim, (I think he’s “The Boss”) to find out the basics of what Blue Sky offers. After a few days of texting back and forth he and I came up with a date, time and adventure that sounded perfect for me and my “Honey.”
On Jan. 8th we found the boat (Jim gave excellent directions), boarded, met the crew and maybe 10 other passengers and headed out at about 4:30 that afternoon. There were seating accommodations on the bow, an upper deck, the stern and the cabin. The passengers we met, it turned out, were mostly couples who’d had booked fishing trips with Blue Sky Cabo for some time.
On the way out to find some “Humpback Activity” the captain cruised by the “Arch” for pictures (Ya have to do that in Cabo, it’s TRADITION) and within 20 minutes I was videoing 2 to 3 whales doing what whales do while migrating. VERY EXCITING! They’d pop up every couple of minutes and the passengers would “Oooo & Ahhhh” and simply enjoy the heck out of the moment. We stayed probably 20 minutes before heading back at which time I was able to capture some of the most breathtaking sunset pics I’ve taken in awhile.
In a “Nutshell” my wife and I are very happy that the couple we met on the second day of our vacation happened to turn us on to Blue Sky Cabo. This “Rave Review” doesn’t fully describe what we actually experienced.

We recently did a sunset cruise with Captain Jim Korchinski of Blue Sky Cabo on one of his boats. The boat was very clean, the crew extremely friendly and helpful. Not only were there free drinks but a guitar player singing local tunes. We all were surprised when Padero the sea lion hopped on board to consume 3 or 4 fish, entertained us - then quietly slipped back into the ocean!
We had sunshine out to our destination where we anchored for appx 30 minutes anxiously watching for whales - alas there were non spotted today. After the magnificent sunset we headed back to town. By this time all the lights were on - and we had a completely different cruise!
I would most definitely recommend this adventure!

I would definitely book with Blue Sky again! The staff were at the Entrance of Dock F to greet us and assist us on their 43 foot boat. The boat was very comfortable providing a smooth ride and I felt very safe. The Captain, First Mate and Photographer were all fantastic accommodating all our needs. They were very informative about the area and I can’t wait until I come back with my husband and book a fishing trip. The sunset was absolutely amazing and one to remember with photos being taken to remember our time with Blue Sky.

It was a wonderful experience. The staff was great and fun was had by all. We were offered a welcome drink when we entered and serenaded by Fernan as we went out to sea to view the beautiful sunset. We could not have asked for a better time.

Amazing fishing crew and boat! We have fished all over the world and this was the most relaxing fishing day we had ever experienced. Caught 5 Dorado, 1 marlin caught but we didn't get it to the boat. The 4 person was the best ever, from cooking fresh meals to making fresh margaritas and taking photos for the day! I highly recommend this charter, I was nervous about 8 hrs, but the boat was so relaxing that the day was very easy and enjoyable by everyone. (3 teens, ages 16, 17, 19) Took photos are the arches and with the sea lion (poncho) that came on the boat and was an instant hit with our teens! Having a cook on board, and talented crew/captain made this one of the best fishing trips that we have ever experienced! Way to go, we will definitely book this again when we return to Cabo...all the best!

We were greeted at gate F by the Captain of Blue Sky and Crew. They safely boarded us with our bags and then we watched a safety video and they asked if we had any questions. The boat was in excellent condition and I felt very comfortable. The cruise started with our choice of drinks of Margaritas or beer along with a variety of chips. The Captain was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out all the sights with a brief history of the area. We even had a special guest visit us on the boat Poncho. The sunset was phenomenal and once the sunset went down they took their time taking us back to enjoy the area. Plenty of photo opportunities too. I can’t wait to go again next time I’m in Cabo San Lucas.

My four children and I experienced Blue Sky Cabo Fishing just this past December. We partook in a sunset cruise, a fishing cruise, and a float cruise. The boat was clean, and the staff were very friendly, and always looking to lend you a hand with anything! The views were out of this world! On the fishing cruise we were able to catch 5 Marlin!!! ( but of course released them) The staff made us a Ceviche, which was absolutely delicious! This trip was just an awesome experience, so many things to write about! We got to meet the famous "Poncho", the biggest sea lion I ever did see! The staff were so quick to take all of our pictures to capture all of our moments! We even got so close to a whale! We were told where to bring our Mahi-mahi to the restaurant "Misiones de Kinos" and they would cook it for us. They cooked it three different ways, and it was out of this world delicious! Blue Sky Cabo was an excellent experience, and I would HIGHLY recommend it!

our sunset cruise with Blue Sky Cabo was the best ever! I think mother nature had a hand in it in giving us a most gorgeous sunset and guiding Pablo the well known Cabo Marina sea lion onto the back of our boat. We enjoyed our captain and first mate and they took all precautions to make sure we Watched a safety video before launching in the beautiful, clean boat. Taking pictures of us with The arch, Pablo and the sunset was an highlight of our trip. There were six of us girls and we all got to sit on the flybridge during the entire trip. I highly recommend Blue Sky Cabo, as I’ve been going to Cabo San Lucas annually since 2004.
