This is anothe great beach and view from pacific area. Excellent to enjoy in family and relx for weeks and months. We came straight from Vallarta port and stayed two nights over there. Quiet and relaxing!

Beautiful blue water and white sandy beach! Although this is billed as 'safe,' I found the rolling waves intimidating! My husband loved it though.

This was one of the closest beach to our resorts. Taxi ride was $20 USD for about a 8 minute ride. The beach is calm and beautiful. You need to take all your supplies, nothing is sold on the premises. They have a few nice...More

We took the bus from San Jose which only took about 7 minutes. The walk from the road to the beach took longer, about 12 minutes. The beach was nice and the surf was not to rough for swimming. Nice place to visit once but...More

Playa Palmilla is just outside of San Jose Del Cabo. You drive down through a neighborhood to get to it. There is plenty of parking but it does fill up. There are chairs and umbrellas to rent as well as the occasional vendor selling stuff.

the drive to the beach is already beautiful: meticulously cut lawns, palm trees, golf fairways and expensive villas. the public beach has a good infrastructure (some shade, showers ) and is the last safe beach for swimming before san jose. nevertheless bring your own food...More

It is close to San Jose, which is a bonus. Kind of a far walk from the bus stop. We drove. Get there early, the lot will fill up. Good snorkeling. Wonderful time with many local families. Such fun.

It was worth the time and the 2 bus rides on the urbano buses to get there. There was only 1 other set of tourists there. Bus ride cost 25 pesos for each ride (taxi costs 30usd round trip). Catch one of the yellow ones...More

A place where locals can bring your own coolers, very enjoyable, very quiet. Excellent for the kids, no food and rest here.

No, but there fishermen and vendors renting chairs/umbrellas so it's not like it's a deserted beach and if you got into trouble there would be no one to yell to but there was no formal lifeguards that I recall.
