This is the start of the beach "Corridor", which goes all the way to Cabo San Lucas. The beach is gorgeous but some places are a bit rocky.

Beautiful beach with little to no surf. Easy swimming with snorkel and fins. Gets (relatively) crowded on Sundays with young people playing loud music on bad speakers from their cars. The rest of the week it is pretty pristine.

Good beach but something but me in the water. So just be careful. Bring snorkeling equipment. We did not but there were snorkelers out.

No, but there fishermen and vendors renting chairs/umbrellas so it's not like it's a deserted beach and if you got into trouble there would be no one to yell to but there was no formal lifeguards that I recall.
