beautiful square, closed off from traffic

Enjoyed the Thursday evening Art Walk, shopped, had drinks in the roof top bars. Easy walk from our resort.

We were there both for the Thursday evening or walk and again to have an early dinner. The people are friendly, but most of the restaurants and all of the curio shops seem to be very expensive. The exception would be the street vendors. I highly recommend the corn on the cob and the tamales that the street vendors sell... More

Yes San Jose Del Cabo was fun! No doubt . There were many art walks etc. night life busy . We didn't do that a whole bunch, but don't miss out on Cobo Wabo cantina . Great food and a great place to take pictures . Who doesn't love Sammy Hagar.. We bought t- shirts of course. There's so many... More

lots of little shops ... a little to far to walk from the hotel but a cheap cab ride. $7 bucks USD or take the local bus for 40 pesos. Canadian owned sports bar called shooters has pretty good food and booze ...

Charming town square with a church at one end and shops around the square. San Jose is a an artist community. So, there are a ton of galleries, quaint shops, both high and low. And, there are plenty of restaurants, a brew pub, etc. Well worth the visit.

We stumbled across the square and were thrilled we did. Many such squares are tourist destinations, bustling with people holding packages and sellers hawking wares. The sellers were there, filling the air with churro donut/cinnamon smells and laughter as they interacted with local families-- Mexican men, ladies and children taking a break from daily routines, shouting across the square to... On Sunday night we took a bus to the plaza. There was music playing (live and recordings), vendors with food and free Salsa dance lessons in the plaza. Everyone was enjoying a pleasant family night out. No problems. The next day (Monday morning) we returned to the plaza with our tour group. The grounds were immaculate. No liter! We felt... More
