We visited San Jose del Cabo’s historic district while staying at Cabo Azul; rode the Urbanno Bus (10 minutes at $1) and really enjoyed the time. The main square is under reconstruction but all shops are open. And they could use your business! A really...More

The town square is the main hub of all activity in the town. The municipal government is housed here. There are numerous shops. All sorts of activities and celebrations that happen here!

We have been to Cabo Area many times and we always recommend the town of San Jose Del Cabo!! It is so cute and the Thursday Fall Art Walk is alway a must do!

I got the impression that when construction is completed, the main square will be very nice. It's totally torn apart at present. San Jose del Cabos is growing rapidly and I'm sure requires the infrastructure that's being put in for its growth.

Still beautiful area to walk around during construction. All shops and restaurants are open, and Art walk is a worthy stroll when in the area. May be a good time to scoop up a bargain from local merchants with the slowing in traffic. La Dolce...More

Great downtown area but lots of construction and streets are all torn up..not that easy to navigate but the shops are clearly suffering and you could likely get good deals.

Sadly under going refurbishment, should be finished by December. We will be back the town has a great character, some interesting shops, particularly the Opal shop on the square.

Lots of little shops to choose from, and only a short walk from the hotel zone. Felt very safe as a woman by myself. Will be even better once the construction is completed.

Absolutely. It's the Routa del Desierto. It's opposite the Mega Mall. It will take you directly to where the Marina is and where the tours begin. It's about 30 to 45 minutes in air conditioned comfort. Cost is $ 2 us
