The organic market of San Jose del Cabo was born in 2002 as a space to support small local organic farmers. Later the conscious community is invited to share their talent through crafts, food, painting, photography, jewelry and other artistic expressions such as music.

We have parking for motor vehicles although it is also recommended to make a walking tour from the historic center of San Jose to our market.

Our visitors can expect a space recognized for being a place with soul and spirit that expresses the traditional and multicultural element of Los Cabos.

In tourist towns it can feel like everything you see you can get someplace else. Not so the Mercado Organico. We had a fresh coconut, first drank the juce, then took it back and she cut it up and gave us the pieces with spices on top, saw some wonderful local art, all kinds of fresh foods and baked goods.... We stopped in more out of curiosity than intent to buy something. We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable guy who offered many good insights and was good company. Because it was late morning, we were thirsty and it was another warm sunny day, we ordered the iced mocha coffee. Was it ever good!!!

This was a great organic market with food and locally made items. The gluten free bread goes fast do you want to get there first thing if that's what you're searching out.

This was a surprise stop while driving around with friends, and I suspect we were a shot in the arm of that market's economy by the time we left. I saw beautiful, healthy plants and the freshest vegetables/herbs at very reasonable prices. I also purchased organic coffee and other items. There were some handmade items like soaps, woven baskets, and... More

We have a time share, and bring all our visitors to this outdoor market because we like it a lot. It is small, but has a lot of variety in its handmade items and produce. It is hard to find if you miss the sign at the entrance to the little dirt road, especially since a little dirt road also... More

Good food, but not a lot of veggie stands surprisingly. There were a couple so you could definitely survive on it. The tamales were so good my husband went back for seconds. Good place to grab gifts also.

The organic market is only open until the beginning of May! Also, it's off of a long dirt road! We got lost trying to find it when it was closed for the season! :) There is however a great organic restaurant (and farm) down the same dirt road...so all was not lost! :)

The mercado is a happening! Even if you don't have a kitchen to stick with the quality organic produce and small batch accoutrements, it's still worth a visit for the music, dancing, and great food. Go late morning and make it a brunch stop. Guaranteed to amuse all ages for a few hours on a lazy Saturday.

WE had heard about the Local Organic Market, however we were never able to find it. After finally "Asking for directions" we made our way there. It is back on a dirt road in the Sanctuary Area. We had a very enjoyable tasting lunch from various local vendors and weturday morning.re able to pick up some Organic items for the... More
