Beautiful white sand beach perfect for Lounging, walking and bathing. Surf can be rough, perfect for surfing during the summer, so may need to be a strong swimmer. Baby sea turtles come out of the sand nests in November. What a treat.

Amazing resort with great staff. Resort is well kept and very clean. Units are well maintained. Lots to do at the resort.

This is a good place for swimming in San Jose del Cabo. It's close to restaurants and isn't overcrowded.

We were walking on the beach and just wanted to peak in to see what the resort looked like. Then, we got towels and spent the day by the pool!

Arrived at this beach for surf classes. Lots of surfers due to sea conditions. Also there is a surf school that also rents surf boards. A couple of restaurants were you can buy food and beverages. Sea is steep and has rocks and sea urchins and strong sea currents...great for surfers but not if you want to just spend a day bathing.

A great beach to visit during your stay in either Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo. Not all the beaches in Los Cabos are swimmable, but Costa Azul is a great area for surfing and relaxing. Some good food in the area as well will have me coming back to this section during future trips. Well worth the visit. If you don't want to park on the dirt/beach area with your rental car, check out the small lot at Zippers Bar and Grill. Enjoy

We've asked down to this beach a couple of times from our resort. Surfers love it and I found it to be very safe. The waves are awesome, but I'd definitely would not recommend swimming or even wading in. Leave that for the surfers. Check this out for a nice beach walk and visit to a true public Los Cabo playa.

Playa Azul is a beautiful long stretch of beach dotted with hotel/condo style accommodations. Nice for walking but not so much for swimming.. Rocky shoreline. Strong surf and undertow. Stop by Zippers Bar and Restaurant for a cocktail and a decent meal situated right on the beach

A stop at Mirador Costa Azul is not be missed while driving the corridor between San Lucas and San Jose. The view of the beach Playa Azul from the high point overlook is awesome. Parking is limited and the turnoff is pretty tight from the highway. Extra caution is required. Enjoy the view of surfers and the breaking waves. A refreshments stand fresh coconuts along with other snacks.

They were awesome with our first surf lesson. Patient, fun, and helpful. The cold beer at the end tasted soooo good! We will probably go with them again.

Enter the restaurant “zipper’s bar and grill” into your gps and it will take you to the beach. You exit off the 1 and go under the bridge to the beach. It is also easily accessible from the bus which lets you off on either side of the bridge.

My short answer is I don't know. However, you should look up the event on the web either by its name or through events coming up in Los Cabos, and try individually San Lucas del Cabo or San Jose del Cabo.
