We walked past this fountain several times while exploring the city. It's history is lovely and it is a nice spot to relax and take a break from all the walking you will do when in Morelia.

A small park, a nice fountain that represents the Purepecha women a beautiful place to walking by and spend some time just enjoying the place.

Is a good place to visit, but don't plan a full day at it because if on a very traffic Avenue. There are good stores and restaurants around so you can just plan a dinner and enjoy the view of the roundabout.

It's a nice thing to check off the list of things to see in Morelia. However it doesn't require a lot of time and you will be done in 10 minutes. Put it in as a quick stop along your way through the city

This fountain is situated between the town centre and the hotel were I was staying so I saw it often. It represents 3 purepecha women carying a plaat of food. You can appreciate the purepechas by visiting Tzintzuntzan (the archeological site) which is not too far from Morelia on your way to Uruapan.

Thank Yves D
