Lovely to learn the history and see this amazing structure

We passed by the Aqueduct on foot and in the car. It is impressive to drive the length of it and learn it's history. Don't miss seeing it while you are in Morelia.

It was fun to walk along the aqueduct and take in the sites along the way. Interesting that such an endeavour was undertaken so long ago in Mexico

I think it would be nice to make more of a feature of this great monument to drinking water and the engineering feat it was and the solving of some unemployment issues at the time........but dont know quite what ? any ideas?

The aqueduct is just a long row of arches coming into Morelia. Its beautiful to see and located alongside nice green areas. Its by the Tarascas fountain ( a wonderful water sculpture) making the area pleasant to view and sit by.

The Morelia aqueduct had 365 arc and there is a myth over it, a nice one if a couple kiss in each arc they would be in love forever. Maybe, maybe not but really nice to try.

The aqueduct is about a mile from the historical center. One can only imagine how they used to get water when looking at them. The arches run fur quite a ways and make for a peaceful walk,
