A must see

Unbelievably beautiful. I took photos but discretely as this is a church with people trying to pray.

This is definitely a must see if you are visiting downtown Morelia. This temple is the perfect example of the Spanish baroque style decoration inside churches. As soon as you get in you are impressed with all the details in gold and different colors. The...More

Traveled to Morelia for business. As a gourmet vegan health advisor & chef I travel to some of the most remote & Beautiful places on earth. This Historical piece of Art is like something out of a story book. A must see.

A unique church where no expense was spared in decorating. I've never seen a church like this and I've visited hundreds of churches in Mexico. A beautiful walk from the centro too. It's a must see.

It's like some sort of Baroque explosion happened here. Honestly, I've never seen a church quite like it. Really striking. And totally empty when I visited. The giant paintings of the conversion of the natives are a little cringe-worthy. A bit of a walk from...More

I can't put into the words the beauty of this sanctuary. Simply Amazing. I did feel awkward "being a tourist" while others were there for a church service.

The door was a little tricky to find but once you’re inside your eyes will be amazed. There was so much to look at and admire!

It's a beautiful church inside and you really should take a stroll through the beautiful streets of Morelia to see it. It's also I a really nice part of town with lovely buildings and of course the viaduct to see while you are there
