The zocalo is a great place to start your exploration of Puebla. It's a pretty and relaxing square with fountains, trees, statues, etc. The official tourist office is across the street and the cathedral is on the other side. There are dozens of churches, museums, and markets within just a few blocks.

The Zocalo had great views, great restaurants, access to shopping and local commerce, connections with locals, museums, the tourism and tour offices, beautiful cathedrals, and all of the city tours left from that location. It was an excellent place to know what was happening in the city.

One of the most beautiful in Mexico. Plenty to eat, see, people watch. Interestingly, the square is on the side of the church. There are lots of pretty streets around Puebla. Find a walking map online and spend a couple of hours walking around.

You must come here both during the day and night. Find a cafe or bar an watch Puebla life walk by. The Zocalo really lights up at night

We just spent 4 days in this historic colonial city. Without a doubt, Pueblo has to be one of the most beautiful cities in all of Mexico! We have been to about 20 colonial cities in this country over the years and few of them can top Pueblo for the beauty, the culture, the food and the ease of the... More

So much to do in Puebla , you really need a whole weekend to explore .. so much history , amazing restaurants and I suggest to all to get on the double decker bus and take a city tour ... Don't forget to try the mole in Puebla and get some beautiful pottery ...

I loved Puebla with its colonial style, wonderful food, and sighseeings. Cholula's Pyramids (no so much for the church) and surroundings (the tunnels and so) are worth the trip. If you are in the area or even in Mexico city and have a day to spend, go to Puebla, you won't regret it!...

Go there, look around, sit on a bench, spend some time in a coffeeshop, enjoy the views, the cathedral, people gathering to enjoy life.
