One of the main things I wanted to see while visiting Riviera Maya was a Cenote and man did we hit the jackpot! I loved the reviews that I read and the fact that we could just enjoy ourselves at this spot and not have to rush around on some tour guides schedule. We originally planned to just visit the... We chose Kantun Chi as it was close to our hotel in Akumal and was also recommended by our tour guide. We took the local colectivo which dropped us off right outside. Initial impressions weren't great and customer service was a little ropey however this soon changed when we met our guide Saul. He was excellent throughout and clearly quite... More

We spent a whole day here including a meal at the restaurant. We did not get a guide and just enjoyed the place by ourselves. There are 4 cenotes in this park that you can access with a basic pass (non-guided tour). Cenote 1 was crowded with people when we entered, the water was clean and clear. Cenote 2 seemed... More

An amazing place, with great services. Masks, lifejackets and water shoes are provided, as is a locker for your things. Our young guide Saul took us down to the underground river, he was very helpful and knowledgeable. The river is well lit, with us was a family with young kids who really enjoyed it also. We later met up with... More

I can't believe the other ratings. I disliked this place. It costs multiples of the other nearby cenotes, but it was absolutely boring. For $30pp, we saw 4 lifeless waterholes, requiring significant walking time. Then they wanted more money to see the 5th cenote. No way. To be AVOIDED.

This place was amazing. We swam in four different cenotes, all different and very pretty. The best part was the tour with Oscar the guide through the underground river. The whole place is lit up so you can see everything. At first I thought this was less natural than wearing a headlight like you do at other underground river tours,... More

We booked our tour through Viator and couldn't be more pleased. When we arrived, we were escorted to the reception area where we met our private guide for the day, Mauro. He was very well versed in the ecosystem, culture and entire area. On top of that, he spoke 5 languages. After suiting up with special shoes, lifejacket and helmet,... More

We booked the most expensive tour due to our 50% discount from our hotel in Playa del Carmen, HULKU. What a lovely place, what a great surprise. The tour begins with visiting the caves, than the 5 cenotes, in which he had plenty of time to swim and take photos. The last one is a private one, used for ceremonies... More

We spent 1/2 day here in early February. Though it looks a tad sketchy from the highway, once inside, it is extremely well setup with ultra-friendly and professional staff. Our guide was Muaro (sp?) and could not have been more engaging and friendly. We had a great time there. One little tip. I can't stand cold water and for this... More

We spent there one super day, we visited cave and were swimming with schnorchling glases, vest and helm. It was super adventure, because one time we swam and then go through narrow passage in cave. The water was excelent blue, everywhere beautiful stalactites from white limestone. The journey throught cave takes about 45 m, then we visited 4 cenotes in park,... More
