Captain Walter established Puerto Aventuras Fishing in 2001. Puerto Aventuras is ideally located just across from Cozumel Island where the Gulf Stream brings great fishing to the Riviera Maya. No travel time for the bite, you are trolling within minutes of exiting the marina. Our crew have experience in both trolling and bottom fishing. We offer boat rides and snorkeling trips from our small fleet of boats ranging from 28 foot to 34 feet. Allow us the privilege of hosting your day in what we call home!!!Captain Walter

I booked this fishing trip with Cap. Walter and he was the only one that accepted to share the boat. I was lucky in that day, nobody shows up so I was the only one in the boat. I caught a Sailfish (first time) and a nice barracuda so it was an unbelievable experience and the crew did a phenomenal... More

We recently chartered their largest boat for eight people and had a great time. We arrived at the Marina around 6:45am for our 7am departure. We arranged for a cab from our resort the night before, and the marina was about 15 minutes away. The boat is in the Puerto Aventuras Marina community, which has shops, restaurants and a dolphin... I was nearby for a wedding at the El Dorado and the guys from the wedding party wanted to hit the water. After reading horrible reviews about the service the resort used, I decided to look around. I called a few places and Puerto Aventuras Fishing was one of a few places that had a boat available at short notice.... More

We had a great experience on this fishing trip. The guides did not speak english at all but they were very helpful and hard working. We rented our own charter for 6 hours 7 people. It was 540.00 US. The only thing it didnt include was beer but we brought our own. We caught our first 3 marlin within 2... More

We have known Walter for several years. He is very helpful and speaks English fluently. We have gone fishing with him several times and find the men working for him very nice. We would highly recommend his company to everyone who wants a great fishing experience. And his prices are ver reasonable.

Im a local fisherman, I have been fishing with many capitans in the area and I find Walter capitans the most efficient crews put of most charters. Also the pricesare generally lower than most charters! This guys go out fishing hard when i fo out with them. Allways have the cooler full of rigged bait! I recommend them
