They are slowly restoring the beach from the hurricanes and the jetty that changed the beach shape. The snorkeling right off the beach is great and the reefs are coming back as well. Rays, turtles, fish of all kinds. And very safe since it isn't...More

Fatima Bay has beautiful, clear blue water, gentle waves, and a soothing view. My favorite thing in the world is to lie in a lounge chair with a book and a drink, listening to the surf and calls of the birds. It feels like a...More

We love this beach! The water is clear and calmer than a lot of areas when the seas are rough. It also has an area blocked off for little kids to play in very very calm water. The snorkeling is very good by the reef!

We love this area for its beautiful quiet beach. We are never bothered nor pestered and feel safe in the water and on shore. Glad to see the work is being done to preserve the sand and help to keep things healthy.

This bay is very beautiful. The shallow waters are generally calm and peaceful but when the wind is up try any wind sport you like. Many condos on the bay actually have a view to the west so sunsets are spectacular.

Saw occasional ray, and fun to watch fish/ take pictures. My muscles like the ions in the ocean, so great stretching, and safe.

Over many years, a slow outward migration of sand has been taking place. There are many conjectures as to why, but human intervention seems to have reversed the tide (so to speak). A new man-made stone cage breakwater now extends across the bay in front...More

yes the beaches are sandy - but it's not a powdery sand. You will need water shoes to access the beach unless you go in by the breakwalls near the Omni hotel. I wouldn't recommend entering anywhere else as the bottom is... More
