We visited the marina several times during our stays at the Catalonia Yucatan. The many shops allowed for great shopping, the bars for a nice drink out of the sun and food if one was hungry.

The inner marina has a bunch of shops and restaurants (I highly recommend having pesos as the price is about 25% cheaper when paying with pesos vice USD). However, the highlight of our time here was not in the marina, but down the road. We rented a golf cart and drove down toward the residential area south of the marina... More

After 13 years and many trips, it never gets old to me. Every outing and meal I shared was terrific. My only complaint is I wish the lights on the island in the dolphin pens would be turned on. When lit up along with all the others, it's truly Magical. The most romantic place ever.

We visited the Marina twice & found it had lot of shops, restaurants, dolphins & other water animals, and tours you could do out on the ocean. It was interesting going into the shops & bartering for things we wanted. Lots of places to eat. There were lots of boats in the Marina to take you out on different excursions... More

We went out with a crew from captain ricks, on the Sea Phantom. Did a bit of trolling but then did bottom fishing. Amazing, the amount of bites u get immediately upon hitting the bottom. Best experience I've had. Bottom fished for a couple hours maybe and caught 16 fish. Some boats came back with big fish from bottom fishing... More

We could walk to the marina in about 10 mins. from our Catalonia Yucatan resort. It was really nice. You could watch a dolphin show for free and there were all kinds of restaurants and shops there as well. We were told that the water wasn't great there to swim with the dolphins but obviously other people did and I'm... More

We stayed at the Hotel Catalonia riviera maya and the Marina is a safe five minute walk - lovely shops and restaurants - no hard sell, the Restaurant with the cow and lobster outside was our favorite - the owner made my husband authentic Mexican dish with beef and cactus which he really enjoyed, and reasonably priced. Will definitely return... More

This marina is in a gated community. It is a short walk from most all the hotels here. It is nice for an early morning or late evening stroll. Lots of stuff to see.
