Helpful and knowledgeable staff make the visit just right. Displays visit is 5$ without tour, which could be free only to encourage those less interested in a couple or group. Tours for 30 minutes and 2 hours are excellent and informative for the locality.

the Centre is very new, with green construction, modern with plenty of fascinating displays of local geology and fossils, with great interpretational signage. there's something for everyone. the trip to the fossil cliffs and beach is great fun............even a novice will have no problem finding...More

Permits are for research purposes only not for tourists to collects fossils. Permits are issued by the Province of Nova Scotia not by the Joggins centre.

A good 2 hours drive. They are almost directly across Bay of Fundy and Chignecto Bay from each other.
