Great shopping with fun bartering. Awesome fresh seafood restaurants all over the place. A must visit when I'm the area.

Fun walk about, lots of little stores to buy trinkets. Fun bars and restaurants everywhere.... it is what one would expect to find in a tourist district... the areas one or two blocks off the beaten path were very interesting. If you want souvenirs, shrimp, or pharmacy products this is the place to be...

Old Port is an exciting and interesting area to roam. The fish market has wonderful fresh fish, shrimp, clams and other interesting ocean stuff. The rest of the market place has really grown. You can find all sorts of things, in the shops and in the street (many "helpers" will show you the best things, for "almost free"). So many... More

It only gets better. There was more going on than ever before. The place is hopping. We still love Mary's seafood. It is our favorite for sure.

Go shopping each time i am here. Fun but yes they do ask and you barter. Eat at Asedero's when down in Rocky point. Great tacos!

I've been coming to Puerto Peñasco for decades. Restaurants in Old Port are hit or miss. Stores aren't too bad, but they mostly sell the same thing--tacky souvenirs and t-shirts. The streets in and around here can be really dirty. Garbage piles up in front of the stores sometimes. Lots of poverty. Last night I was offered cocaine. Air pollution... More

The food in the fish market area is delicious everywhere. Unfortunately, you will be accosted by vendors and restauranterus to enter their shops and venues. Once through this noisy end of the Malecon, the walk toward the lighthouse on Whale Hill, is stunningly beautiful and peaceful.

The Old Port is an interesting place, full of many shops selling mostly the same stuff as all the others. The fish markets here a much cleaner than the others scattered about town. There are some nice restaurants and bars as well.

A definite tourist trap, but fun and interesting. I have fun haggling with the shopkeepers, but be fair, l have been known to push too far and tick them off. Lots of shops and restaurants.

Had a great time visiting Old Port. It has everything-from souvenirs to dining-all can be found here. There are places for the younger crowd as well as places for the "mature" visitor. Arrangements can also be made for other forms of excitement such as Jet skis, Banana boat rides, etc.
