    A Very Walk is Enjoyable
This beach is very walkable and several miles long. At high tide some places require you to wade in the water, but at low tide you can 'stay dry or wet'. I usually stay close to the 'middle' of the beach and must decide each time that I walk if I want to go north or south. Just over a mile from where I stay is the great little town of Bucerias. Bucerias has some very good restaurants and shopping but that is another story Walking south you must walk for at least a couple of miles or so the teach the Nuevo Nayarit shopping area. If you enjoy your walk for that distance it will be time for a good rest and perhaps a bus ride back. What ever I am sure that you will enjoy the sand and the ocean and may mmet some ocean life that has washed up. The views are splendid.

    Long Walks on the Sand
We stayed at one of the resorts along this lengthy strip of beach along the Pacific Ocean with mountains on both sides. The views of all that you could see were breathtaking, especially the sunsets. Scattered among the large resorts were condos and apartments.

    Absolutely stunning beach area.
The beach in Nuevo Vallarta is miles long and when the tide is low very very wide. Best place for beach walkers & nature seekers. You can spot Rays riding small beach waves. Turtles coming out of the sand right in front of you. Or during certain times of the year turtles laying their eggs. Beautiful birds, etc.. a few beach bars for food and libations. Great place to stay and enjoy the days in the sun.

Best Beach in PV area.
Warm water, firm packed sand, shallow waters. We have stayed in Puerto Vallarta and the beaches in that city area have stronger waves and deep sand, its very hard to keep your balance.

A beautiful long beach to walk on and great sunsets. Many birds can be seen every day and since I am a watercolor artist I captured great photos to use as references for future art works. Sand is perfect and we even found a few Venus clam shells. Hardly any tourists there right now so I was able to get lovely panoramic shots of the beach every day too. It was 78 degrees every day and the water was fine for swimming- never saw any little jellies so that was also nice😀. We saw a few families and the kids were having so much fun because it’s very shallow way out into the waves and no drop off.

Cesar Lopez pool Butler for the estates sundeck at beach land is beyond compare! Anticipates he’s jovial he’s knowledgeable just beyond exceeding all expectations. All of our pool butlers, Antonio, Adrian, and Emmanuel strive to go above and beyond expectations. Antonio’s personality and service are fabulous.

Problem #1. We have gone to this resort for the last three years. We even upgraded to the new park last year that is not built yet. They asked us to talk to them about any questions we might have, so we said. "sure." Funny thing about that, was when we got to our meeting the gal didn't ask us once about any questions we had. She just told us about how she could win a car if we paid another 33,000 dollars. And then we would get the type of room we were promised to get if we paid the extra the year before.
Problem #2. Walking down to the pool for our unit, they blocked the path and was putting a gondola in that would block the ocean views. They didn't go out of their way to shuttle you down to the pool so you had to walk to another pool then down by the beach to get to it. The construction taking place makes this place a little less desirable at this time 3/2020

It's crowded in places, where the larger hotels are. But one has only to keep walking and relatively secluded sections can be found. A few crocodile warnings and sightings add an element of risk to swimming. However, I am not aware of anyone actually getting attacked by a crocodile.
The sand is coarse and kitty-litter textured and nowhere near the white sand of the south pacific or Indian Ocean beaches. However - the usual great weather and the short flight time from Canada do compensate somewhat!

We arrived in Bucerias and after having breakfast at a restaurant with a beach view, we walked along the beach and found the sand to be clean and the whole area not very busy at all. Really nice here, but more people may find out eventually and make this area less desirable as well. Enjoy it while you can.

I'm not the most traveled person but from the various beaches I have been on in mexico including some semi private ones this one is my favourite.

It's a nice long walk to get from where the sand starts to the water and atleast 2km long from river mouth to the nuevo harbour. Early morning the shore has many small shells to look at. The waves ranged in size the whole time I was here from 2ft to 5ft. The day of the 5ft waves life guards made themself known by whistling in people out to far and advising them of the red flag warning out.

The unexpected treat of this beach was the sea turtle sanctuary where nests are protected and baby turtles are released/escorted down the sand early every morning. Be advised this is a protected thing. Visitors are not to touch/use flash photography/or get infront of the baby turtles and by no means pic them up and place them in the water. It has to do with there natural instincts to return to the beach to lay eggs in 20 years. But it is a site to be seen. I had the luckiest of encounters when I witness 2 baby turtles sticking there heads out of the sand I ran to the sanctuary and got a staff member who came over and dug up the hatchlings which totalled 4 and took them to be released by escort the next night/early morning. Birds that eat the baby turtles are all over.

To close, if u want more than great sand and long beach and the chance to experiance something more. This is a great beach, full of memories to be had.

This beach goes on for miles around the Bandaras Bay. We've stayed at Vidanta and father north, at Flamingos, just south of Bucerias. Most of this area is adjoined by three to six story hotels and residences. But there is lots of room to walk, especially when the tide is out. There is a constant parade of swimmers, sunners, walkers and water sporters. There are many little botique massage and food places along the way. We've walked beaches on seven continents and this is one of the best.

Terra Kite Unit #32 - Recently booked this condo in Nuevo Nayarit and what a nightmare. Condo owner and real estate booking agent (Vallarta bookings) lied about the condo and the amenities it provided from start to finish. Booking agent had never even been to the condo prior to listing it! Numerous problems with the condo and all of the deception that they continued to provide us with. Stay far, far away from this condo and Vallarta bookings! We do not want anyone else to have to go through what we did!
