My family has bought our Christmas meats from farmer jacks for the last 5 years. This year is my first in my own property so I decided to visit farmer jacks today and order some Christmas food. Most likely £100 worth, apon arrival there was 3 female staff about, I grab the Christmas leaflet and see if I can get... More

Hi Andrew. I will inform Ben about this, who is the owner of FJ. I am sure he will be extremely upset. If at all possible could you call me on 01983539361 so I can take some details and get Ben to call you. Regards. Lee More

After seeing an advert in the Isle of Wight magazine, we thought we'd visit here. I know it's out of season but I thought there would be more here nevertheless. Not much going on, although the farm shop was very sweet

This is a good place to visit on a dodgy day as there are mostly indoor attractions. The glass making demonstrations near the entrance are free and really interesting to watch. There is also a glass blowing studio further in. Both sell glassware they make but it is expensive. Many other crafts are on offer and many of the crafters... More

The quality of the glass blowing is superb; plus the staff are very friendly taking time to explain what they are doing. We've been calling in to Arreton on our annual visit to the IoW for years and the quality and variety of the glass animals is now second to none. The 'word art' shop round the corner is highly... This arts and crafts centre called Arreton Barns is in the small town of Arreton in the heart of the countryside on the Isle of Wight. It showcases some of the best local artists and craftspeople in their own unique studios in what might have been old barns years ago. You can watch them create handmade items in clay, leather,... Lovely place to pop into and look at some of the locally made quality items. We purchase a new glass Christmas decoration yearly from the glass blowing area and to watch them make them is interesting. The farm shop has a great selection of local produce and the Owls nest a lovely selection of locally made products.

We spent a morning here yesterday and we all really enjoyed it . The craft barns are all different and so enjoyable to watch . The weather made it even special by being so sunny that we sat outside having a drink . Spent lots of money but it was well worth it .

brought back many memories, many of the elements have not changed but added to. spent two or three hours here and could have stayed longer. the food in the dairyman's daughter is still as good as years gone by. a very worthwhile return and a strong recommendation if you are in the area.

Last time I visited was 8 years ago, has grown considerably since when I visited this week. A couple of the craft sheds were closing down (leather shop). There is a unique art shop using words for pictures, a glassworks, which is a bit pricey, a card shop, pirate display, wood turning, pub, chocolate shop, local farm shop etc. Not... More
