Sunshine Village sits high on the Continental Divide in the heart of Banff National Park, and is just minutes from the mountain town of Banff. Three sprawling mountains provide breathtaking sitelines, uninterrupted by any signs of civilization beyond the resort's leasehold.

Ski or ride in Alberta and British Columbia in one run. Sunshine Village's seven-month season stretches from early November until late May - the longest non-glacial season in Canada. The Village's altitude of 7,082 feet ensures the snow stays dry. Sunshine can receive up to nine metres (30 feet) of snow in a season, and it stays all year.

Terrific snow, awesome variety of terrain, convenient central village to connect w family. Goats Eye area is outstanding. -and the views of the mountains probably surpassed all of that! So beautifully made!! Hadn't skied there in 26 years... now I can't wait to come back soon

I have Skied here 5 times when I was first a kid with a church group and my dad and I and a Friend too. I love this place and the snow was amazing the last time I skied on Valentine's Day this year and the day after Valentine's Day. The snow is amazing here and can last to May... More

Sunshine never make snow! how many ski center can do what they do--not making snow? not much! They have very nice ski trails for skier from beginner to black diamond, and they are more beginner friendly than Lake Louise ski center. The only drawback is: the trails are short, so skiers are always on the chair. However, compare to the... More

From the moment you get out of your car down the road because the parking lot is fairly limited, a shuttle bus picks you up and drops you right in front of the ticket counter. Enough wickets are open to accommodate the influx of skiers, little to no wait here. Then you walk up the stairs to take the cabins... More

Me and the kids snowboarded here in Feb 2017, and had a great time the snow was brilliant, soft powder and lots of it. We had a private guide / lesson for the three off us which probably is not ideal as my son is a black runner and my Daughter and I were only greens. However Jessie our instructor... More

Drove from Banff to Sunshine. Easy drive roads great. Once on site Parked and bus stops and picks you up and drops you off at bottom mountain. Or walk the 5 mins. We rented equipment right on mountain and bought half day pass. Easy process and so convenient. Up mountain we go. Really enjoyed runs and ski out! There is... More

My girlfriend and I stayed out on the mountain for the weekend a couple weeks ago. We just wanted to write a review to portray our thanks and gratitude towards all staff members there. It was an AWESOME weekend of good food, good snowboarding, and good times for sure! The room was VERY nice and very well kept by the... More

I had visited this area before and recall really enjoying it, but I'm afraid that after skiing Lake Louise, I have to say that Sunshine just doesn't seem to shine (ha ha) as brightly. Yes yes, Delirium Dive and Wild West. I get it. The Dive is awesome, but it's just one feature of the mountain and, for me, it... More

I went for a day on a long weekend, I expected for everything to be extremely expensive but for a skin resort I was actually impressed with the prices. Good grub and killer mountain to play on! I didn't have a problem with parking but I could see it becoming a problem for some, if you want to be close... More

Arrived early to get a parking spot near the gondola. The snow conditions were excellent and the queues at the lifts were short given that it was a holiday weekend. A beautiful ski hill.
