The sulphur mountain hike is quite challenging, as it is quite icy and very steep. Also I recommend cleats so that it's not slippery. When you arrive at the top, all the efforts were worth it. You have the view on the valley and the...More

This hike had beautiful views at the top but it was 3.5 miles of constant uphill switchbacks to get there. Quite difficult and not they beautiful on the way up. In the winter it is a free gondola ride down, which was nice.

As the title suggests Sulphur Mountain is an easy walk and exceptional views at the top! Chance to see some wildlife along the trails. We went at the end of winter and the snow was still pretty deep and it was very icy so although...More

we often do this hike as a warm up for the hiking year and this year was no different. It's a great uphill workout with about a 2000 foot elevation gain. Very few great views on the way but when you get to the top...More

Absolutely, you can buy one way down no problem. Can't remember the cost and take about 9 minutes with an option of a picture purchase, or essential and no hassle. Enjoy
