We walked this trail from Banff town, the trail definitely needs some more signposting from Banff, the path itself is quite far away from the river so most of the walk was spent walking through the woods. When we finally found the Hoodoos we were underwhelmed and hungry after a long walk so caught the Roam back in to town

Why not do it? Nice little trail with some unique rock formations and beautiful view of the glacial river. All paved and super easy.

Unreal views from the lookout viewpoint. Parking ample too. Very quiet and relaxing with some of the most stunning views we've seen in Banff

Short walk to see the Hoodoos and bow river as well as scenery. Path is paved with only a few steps. Little bit of incline here & there. The views are great.

This was an average trail. It had good river and mountain views and overlooked the hoodoos. Not a must-see but a great short leisurely trail.

From what we had heard of Hoodoos we expected more than we got, We went to see the Hoodoos off Tunnel mountain road. They are interesting but you can’t get close enough to really appreciate them. Good scenery all round though,

This is a pleasant, easy trail through the woods. But the big pay-off is when you reach the observation look-offs, where you get nice views of the mountains, river and the hoodoos themselves. If you go in the fall, there are no bugs!

We walked this trail from Surprise corner and it was very peaceful going through woods and by the river. We wondered when we were going to see the hoodoos but eventually reached the view points well past the first car park we came to. It was peaceful in the woods and looked a fun mountain bike trail.

Amazing views. Nice walk with viewing areas. The path is not very far from the parking lot. As you walk farther up the path, the views get more and more incredible.
