Very well laid out trail with great views and some pretty unique geographic formations. Offers a nice view into town and the mountains. As Kenan Thompson once said: “Hoodoo you do...what up with that. “

The hoodoos and mushrooms near Drumheller Alberta are natural formations made of the rock when glaciers passed thru the region. Like someone said you need to take the sights both at the mushroom formation and horseshoe canyon.

If you have a car, this is an easy trip to see gorgeous views that include the Hoodoos. Easy walk from parking lot to trail overlooking the valley.

There is a nice visitor parking lot with a short walk to view the mountains, river, and the Hoodoos. You can walk the trail for some different views, but the one from the viewing stand is the best.

It is any easy walk to the viewpoint to see the structures. Walking further up the path is interesting highlighting the large mountains in front of you. A view over the the Fairmont Chateau Banff Springs.

We stayed in the Tunnel Mtn campground and this was a short drive away. Quiet, majestic scenery on trail that is being reconstructed.

So, let me start by admitting.. I didn't do the whole trail. There's actually a parking lot right at the end of the trail on the outskirts of town, by Campground 1, on Tunnel Mountain Dr. From there, you get just a short 5 minute...More
