My wife and I recently visited the Athabasca Glacier during our recent stay in Canada. Dave our driver was very informative and the Ice field was spectacular . We used the tour as a transfer between Banff and Jasper . Well worth a visit,But beware it is cold no matter what the weather is like,to see some visitors in shorts, flip flops was just unbelievable , however with the rate of the ice melting I do have concerns about the amount of visitors in the area ,and yes I was one of those visitors.!

This was a fantastic trip to the glacier. Our driver, Ness, kept us laughing while teaching us about the glacier, the ice buggy and the indigenous people and some of their language. Highly recommend if you can get the chance to visit.

My husband Claude along with my cousin and his wife, were also with me during this excursion. I loved it very much. I have never been on top of a glacier before, never, so it was so thrilling! Only Issue, we did sit near the back of the transportation vehicle and noticed the strong to moderate smell of the exhaust fumes.

The tour is well organized and our driver Frank was very informative! Sad to see the glacier disappearing fast. It was a lot different than when I was there 30+ years ago. It was a tiring trip but it was worth it!

We took this tour as part of a larger trip to Lake Louise, and it didn’t disappoint. The glacier was incredible, and our guide Brett was informative and entertaining. Would certainly recommend this excursion.
