Got to do the stargazing which was incredible. Got to see constellations through a wonderful telescope thanks to people who love stars. They were happy to explain what they were showing us. They had hot chocolate and heaters outside so you could warm up. The entire centre has been redone and is incredible. Definitely an experience to be had.

A must do for the best views of town to get a feel for the early explorers. Highly recommend you put it on your list to do.

Went During the winter time. Took the Hike up! Roughly 2 hours, but the trip down is free! When you get up to the top, there is a very exciting view of both Banff and the mountains around it.

What a view. Go early this place loads up with tourists fast. We were there two minutes after it opened and walked right through with no lines. Took our time at the top of the mountain. Took lots of photos and saw mountain goats, elk, and big horn sheep , oblivious to all the cellphone photography. It was the perfect... More

Good visit for first timers to Banff. It's pricey so check for any coupons or discounts. The view is spectacular from the top. If you are visiting and on the fence about doing this, pick the clearest day and head on up, you wont regret it.

We decided to visit the Banff gondola on our recent visit. When we rode the Gondola to the top we were quite pleased to see that apart from the amazing views and a choice of eateries there was also a really interesting display on the surrounding area, the local wild life and history of the area. We founded this most... More
