Just before entering Banff (coming from Golden) the lakes are at your right hand sight. The views are really beautiful and worthwile to make stop to enjoy the scenery.

This is probably the most photographed spot for Mount Rundle, yet it never gets old. Travel down the road to a few different spots, watch out in the marsh as your feet can get wet anywhere!

We took a short around the lake. Parking is not an issue. We did see a number of brides having their photos taken with the scenic background! Nice and peaceful and loved the mountain view.

Yes, You can have dinner at the restaurant in the Juniper Hotel. It is situated on the lower slopes of Mount Norquay and the dinning room has an excellent view of Vermillion Lakes.
