All the amenities of a modern facility are featured in this splendid, historic spa and bath house—against a backdrop of spectacular alpine scenery. You will luxuriate in the comfort of soothing hot water where travelers have come to “take the waters” for more than a century. Banff’s premier attraction features: a day spa, outdoor terrace, Wonder of water hydrology exhibit and historic swimsuits (1920's) for rent. It also offers an outfitters gift store and the Upper Hot Springs Café.

It's basically a large outdoor hot tub. Our hotel had two large hot pools on the roof (Moose Hotel and suite) that we just as nice and free to use.

I haven't worn a bathing suit in over 20 years. That didn't stop me from tryin the Hot Springs in Banff. This is a MUST DO while visiting as it's tremendously relaxing and comfortable. How inspirational to sit in the hot springs while surrounded by the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies. It draws a big crowd so try to... More

I go here all the time. Can spend hours just relaxing in the hot pools. Always catch up with friends here. Relaxes all the muscles.

Always nice to soak in the springs after a day of skiing. The lockers work great, and the change rooms are large enough that people are not tripping over each other.

It gets busy but is still very much enjoyable! The view is great and the water is perfect temperature. Add to this cool mountain air and you're not gonna want to leave.

Very relaxing. We went early in the morning because we know it gets very busy. And good thing we did. Just as we left the springs we're filling up quick.

It is a great place to stop in Banff but the cashier at the front did not explain anything!!! We did not know where to go or if we needed towels or anything! I had to come back up twice to get towels and change (because the lockers will eat your change) Nothing was explained. There was confused patrons everywhere.... More

Nothing fancy about the hot springs, can only hold 200 people but did offer a good view. Parking wasn't the best, you have to walk a ways. We haven't tried radium hot springs so nothing to compare to.
