When we walked in, my wife found boots that she liked and inquired about them. The lady that helped her said that the shoes were downstairs, but since my wife has trouble going up and down stairs, she graciously said she would go down and...More

Basically a strip of gift shops, but it's the setting for that iconic "mountain in the background" photo. Nice for a walk & wander, but unless you are a shopoholic, you can see it all in under 2 hours, which is the free city parking...More

Quaint little town with a lot of restaurants and shops. Great views of the surrounding mountain range and make sure to take the hike along the Bow river to see the falls. Easy, nice hike from Banff Ave.

Banff Ave is great. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars to stroll too. Very quaint. Has that mountain town feel. Really nice to walk up and down.

Depends on the wind. When we were there, no smoke in Banff, although the mountains were obscured.
