Saw Lake Minnewanka in part of a tour, and our guide was very informative. As we were there in March the lake was completely frozen and covered in snow, but it was still beautiful. It's used as a diving site too if anyone is interested.

If you are visiting Banff, the Centre is an interesting place to visit. Frequently there are shows and displays worth seeing. It is a relatively easy uphill walk from the Town.

This venue has excellent options for concerts, art, music, theatre and dance. Big bonus no driving to the city whoohooo. Nice building, lots of parking and friendly staff.

Attended IEEE SMC2017 technical conference at Banff Centre. The place is awesome, with large conference rooms at the Kinnear center, and a beautiful dining facility with awesome views.

There is a fitness centre and swimming pool at The Banff Centre. It is a very pleasant 15 - 20 minute walk into downtown.

If you are passing through the park you do not need a Park Pass. If you are passing through the park you may stop for gas etc. I have never seen a Park Pass Check within the town of Banff.
