We stayed at the Banff Centre in August. It is a beautiful peaceful place. Lots of things to do on the property - swim, relax, walk, workout - enjoy the surrounding natural area.

This is a wonderful gallery, unfortunately out of our price range but the staff didn’t seem to mind us just looking. The photographs are stunning especially the bears and the ruffled eagle. Very talented photographers with a good eye.

There is a fitness centre and swimming pool at The Banff Centre. It is a very pleasant 15 - 20 minute walk into downtown.

If you are passing through the park you do not need a Park Pass. If you are passing through the park you may stop for gas etc. I have never seen a Park Pass Check within the town of Banff.
