The trail was very nice, short, and safe up the mountain. You will get a really nice view of the town near the top of the mountain. The trail is also really close to banff town so definitely go if you are staying in banff.

Lovely scenic walk. It's about a 1 and a half hour round trip. I reckon children from age 6 could do this. Would highly recommend.

Climb rate was fairly easy, though expect to get a lot of Sun, so a hat is helpful. Several nice views on the way to the summit.

Thought this was a waste of time. Just to stand and wait for a train is ridiculous. Nothing to see. Really don't know why this attraction is recommended

This trail is good for an afternoon stroll to see great views both North and South of Banff. Allow about 2-3 hours return from the summit and bring a lunch. There is a great picnic site on the top at the end of the trail....More

Our first hike in Banff. Rewarding view at at the top 1500+ feet high. Foggy at times. Enjoyed every minute of it.

Nice short but challenging hike here. Good one to warm up with! Parking here was a challenge as well, but it is Canada's 150th!!!

This is OK but not in the top five for hikes. There are so many to choose from it is not a must see. But it is easy to access from the downtown area. It can be a comfortable afternoon walk.

Saw very little wildlife. Tunnel Trail was a gentle uphill. It was done at 10 in morning. We crossed paths with others who lived in area. It was our first hike upon arriving in Banff. Again. Very little wildlife viewing... More

Yes, there are signs directing tourists from the city center to the trail. We were staying in a hotel in town and walked to the trail head from there.
