A cruise along a very pretty lake. Look for the "grove" of Trembling Aspen which is actually one tree connected by a root system.

Took the one-hour cruise (only option) in mid October. We're lucky we made it out on the water as it should have been snowing at this point. But it was a clear, sunny (but cold) day. Did not know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by the humor of our cruise guide who shared a lot of history of the area along with lots of laughs. Had a chance to take fabulous photos, and a short power nap on the way back.

It was a pleasant experience when traveling with kids and older parents. The best part is when our tour guide asked us to be silent for 10 seconds to soak-in the sounds of the nature.

It’s a great experience, we had fun and the best moment is the silence moment in the lake when we fully stop. Hope that would be longer, like 2-3 mins.

Good Tour guide, good story, and history information. Beautiful view. The boat is a little bit small.

Definitely worth the price. Jordan was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed his stories. I came over with my mom and her friends, everyone enjoyed themselves.

Don't do it. Takes out to the middle of the lake and back. Very crowded boat, barely gives you enough time to take pictures, bad angles.

What an awesome experience!
Our hosts, captain Gerry and Gina were amazing. Very friendly, accommodating, gave an educational tour, told us 13000 year history.

The Lake Minnewanke Cruise was included as part of my holiday organised by the Rocky Mountaineer so I was unsure what to expect. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this easygoing activity. As we cruised, our lovely guide, Gary, talked us through the history of the lake and surrounding environment. I greatly appreciated it when our captain, Ben, turned the engine off and we enjoyed the silence for a few moments.

If you are interested in photography this is a great experience as the views are wonderful and you have the opportunity to head to the back of the boat to capture a more unobstructed view of the lake.

Would definitely recommend!
