Crystal water nestled at the base of the Banff Springs hotel. Although the water torrents over the falls, it remains crystal clear, AND COLD. Smooth rocks polished by the rushing water surrounded by a deep green evergreen and poplar forest. Keep your eyes open, perhaps...More

Our stop at Bow falls was part of a sightseeing tour conducted by Brewster's. The falls were largely unremarkable apart from the jagged rocks interspersing the white water, however, being the middle of summer, they were at their lowest flow, so we didn't see them...More

We spent a couple of minutes here to take in the views and stretch out legs before driving onto Calgary. Was a lovely outdoor park space with great views of the fairmont hotel and the falls. I could sit and people/view watch all day.

Great viewing area for the falls and a nice place to have a picnic. Just below the Fairmont Hotel. Watch kayaks and rafts below the falls.

The falls are small in comparison with others in the area. There is a lot of water rushing over the falls. A good view of the falls is from the raft trip.

Good photo opportunities of this waterfall are available from the main road and there is very good parking available.

Really pretty falls just a couple of minutes from downtown Banff. Great photo ops. Easy walk up the stair-cased path to see the falls from above, too. Also, great views of the castle-like historic Banff Springs Hotel up above. Really nice attraction in a very...More

Ok, this fall is not as grand as Niagara Falls, but it has its own charm and feel! Watch (again) the film: "the river has no return" before you go. Sign the song along the river, time travel back to the film.
